24.08.09 X Factor return

Saturday night saw the return of the X Factor to our screens.  The format is perhaps becoming a bit tired after however many years of talent shows, but it does still make for feel-good TV, and the highlight of the programme is without a doubt the audition process.  This year the auditions have taken place in front of an audience, an obvious response to the success of the Britain's Got Talent format.  Whether or not this works as well with the X Factor, we'll have to wait and see.  The highlight of Saturday night's show was the final performance from Danyl who sure knows how to work the crowd.

But the real highlight for us fashion-followers is of course the duel between Dannii and Cheryl to see who looks best.  This week we think Cheryl looked great but played it relatively safe.  We love Dannii's new hair-style and her slightly more adventurous style-choices this week, so our vote goes her way for now.
