25.09.09 London Fashion Week

This week has been a hectic one in the world of fashion.  London Fashion Week came and went with much noise and media coverage.  Common themes were the recession, LFW's 25th anniversary and Burberry's return to London after years in Milan.  Credit must go to Burberry for pulling off quite an event with real big-hitters in attendance such as Anna Wintour and Gwyneth Paltrow, but did anyone else think that Emma Watson's outfit didn't look quite right on her?

Another highlight were those "experimental" fashionistas who dressed in the most extreme outfits and scared the daylights out of the freshers attending their first lectures at KCL.  Some of these students have just moved to the big city and all of a sudden they see grown men in leotards - what must they think?!  But the highlight of the week for us was the Kokon To Zai show at On/Off - to see pics click here.

In other news, both Zara and H&M have announced that from 2010 they will launch online stores for the UK - at last!  H&M already has online offerings in other markets including Scandinavia and Germany.  Click here to see what their German online store looks like.

And lastly, the tune that we heard the most throughout LFW and gets us pumped for the weekend is Master Shortie's Bringing it Back.  Cool video too.
